We are looking for a Research Associate Scientist for a global pharmaceutical company. This position will be part of the Translational Medicine Solid Tumor Lab Research Team focused on tissue-based research, including spatial biology. The team deploys the latest high dimensional profiling tools (including single cell genomics/epigenomics and spatial protein/RNA characterization) in patient tumor samples to fill translational knowledge gaps relevant to our early and late development pipelines. Such knowledge gaps include the study of tumor and microenvironment heterogeneity, identification of mechanisms of action and resistance to therapy, and improved patient stratification with novel biomarkers.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite role in Cambridge Crossing, MA. Candidates must be agreeable with the $20/day parking fee at Cambridge Crossings

Responsibilities
- Performing high dimensional profiling spatial and single cell assays on tissue samples.
- Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of latest generation PhenoCycler Fusion and Nanostring CosMx instrument; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization.
- Operate and maintain the PhenoCycler Fusion and auto-staining instruments.
- Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation and QC. Prepare slides for analysis.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
- Perform routine data transferring and assist with data analysis.
- Assist in the development of new assays, methods, and reagents.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory.
- Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
- Bachelor's degree
