Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Steer the community's day-to-day operations, setting the gold standard for resident care.
Staff Training, Supervision, and Scheduling: Lead rigorous staff training initiatives to elevate skill sets, mentor team members, manage performance metrics, and oversee meticulous scheduling protocols to ensure continuous care coverage.
Supply Management: Monitor, order, and manage necessary supplies for the community, ensuring timely availability and cost-effective purchasing.
Resident Relations: Foster a warm and receptive environment, promptly addressing resident concerns and ensuring their utmost comfort and safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Safeguard the community's strict alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.
On-Call Responsibilities: Demonstrate unwavering commitment through on-call duties, guaranteeing a 24/7 rapid response mechanism for urgent situations.
Essential Qualifications:
Must hold a valid CPR certification.
Certified QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel).
A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an assisted living environment, especially emphasizing staff training and supply management.
Proven expertise in devising and implementing staff training modules.
Adept at supply ordering and inventory management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, nurturing relationships with residents, families, and the entire staff.
Mastery over the regulatory framework governing assisted living facilities.
Sharp problem-solving instincts paired with decisive decision-making.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists the Wellness Director(s) and Nurse-on-Duty with creating, maintaining and filing items such as charts and other assigned paperwork; as well as phone calls and scheduling appointments.
- Maintains Care Binder
- Coordinates communication between nurses, residents, families and doctors.
- Orders medication and supplies.
- Creates and posts QMAP and Caregiver work schedules 3-4 weeks in advance, as well as floor assignments and bath schedules a week in advance.
- Assists with hiring, performance reviews, training, shadowing and disciplining caregivers/QMAPs.
- Assists with resident assessments.
- Finds coverage when employees call-in or when we have no coverage assigned to a shift.
- Coordinates communication regarding medication changes with pharmacy, nurses, and families.
- Conducts staff in-service and training. Works with trainers to coordinate their assistance in preparing training. Develops employees to perform their duties at a high standard.
- Assists in coordinating resident care and often stepping in to provide resident care.
- Communicates concerns that require attention, to their direct supervisor or a Director.
- Demonstrates a team approach, responsibility, accountability and professionalism.

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
