Position Overview
As a Project Manager (PM) in the Contract Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of contract furnishing projects from initiation to installation. This role centers around logistics, timeline management, and clear communication—ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
You will serve as the primary liaison between clients—including developers, contractors, and owners’ representatives—and our internal contract and warehouse teams. Your ability to manage timelines, streamline communication, and proactively resolve issues will be key to the success of each project.
In this position, you’ll work closely with the contract team to coordinate deliverables such as estimates, moodboards and specbooks, making sure all necessary client assets (floorplans, ID sets, renderings, specbooks) are obtained early in the process. You'll also ensure product ordering, delivery schedules, and installations are executed efficiently. While a design background is not required, a strong sense of organization, ownership, and accountability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings and ensuring clear communication between all internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of contract projects—from collecting client files to managing specbook deliverables, tracking orders, and coordinating installation logistics.
- Logistics Oversight: Ensure all items are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time using tools such as Odoo, while collaborating closely with the warehouse and vendors.
- Timeline & Budget Management: Monitor timelines and budgets across multiple projects, making adjustments as needed to keep projects within scope and on schedule.
- Issue Resolution: Address client concerns promptly and professionally, offering solutions that minimize disruption and uphold client satisfaction.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with the estimator, purchaser, designer, and warehouse team to ensure deliverables reflect client needs and preferences; support warehouse coordination to enable smooth installations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in logistics or operations.
- Ability to read construction plans and specbooks.
- Proficiency in tools such as Odoo, Hubspot, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
