We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while effectively managing multiple tasks in a collaborative setting.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations and manage table assignments efficiently.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with team members and engage with guests effectively.
- A background in culinary arts or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
