Staging Crew Member

Position Summary:

The Staging Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the preparation and arrangement of furniture and decor for home staging projects. This role involves the careful and efficient handling, transportation, and placement of items to ensure the property is presented in its best possible light to potential buyers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture, decor, and staging materials from trucks and into homes.
• Placement: Arrange furniture and decor items in homes according to the staging plan, ensuring all items are positioned correctly and aesthetically.
• Transportation: Drive and operate moving trucks to transport items between the staging warehouse and staging locations.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of items being moved, ensuring nothing is lost or damaged during the process.
• Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed for staging purposes.
• Maintenance: Maintain staging equipment and vehicles, reporting any issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in moving, staging, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 80 lbs) regularly; ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Driving License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical Demands: The job involves significant physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
• Work Conditions: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in clients' homes, and may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
• Travel: Frequent travel between staging locations and the warehouse is required.
