What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Frequency Systems Engineer position at Stahl Companies?
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop methods for spectrum monitoring using COTS hardware and software, as well as custom tools and interfaces
- Develop and implement digital radio system components using SDRs
- Efficiently deploy and integrate software DSP deployment scripts
- Develop RF signal detection with an automatic spectrum monitoring and reporting capability
- Use Signal Metadata Format (SigMF) industry standard to store and share recorded signal data within MCTSSA for analysis
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also provide onsite support and training on various spectrum systems, document and develop Knowledgebase Articles (KBAs), system documentations, training guides and solutions, and support local test and experimentation events.
