Vanguard Conversion and Fulfillment (VCF) is a premier third-party converting and fulfillment company, providing custom slitting, laminating, sheeting, and printing solutions for B2B and B2C clients across various industries. With cutting-edge equipment and an expert team, we deliver scalable, cost-efficient solutions to enhance operations and product quality.
What you'll be doing:
The Garment Decoration Manager oversees all garment decoration processes, including embroidery, direct-to-film (DTF), direct-to-garment (DTG), UV DTF, heat transfers, and laser cutting and engraving processes. This role ensures production goals are met, quality standards maintained, and operations run efficiently. The manager will lead a team, manage scheduling and workflow, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee end-to-end garment decoration production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand or equipment issues.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance; set clear expectations and provide regular feedback. Foster a positive and accountable work environment.
- Maintain strict quality control standards, inspecting products for accuracy, and resolving issues quickly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Manage inventory of garments, inks, and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and repair of equipment, and recommending equipment upgrades to improve output.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Planning teams to align on order details, timelines, and issue resolution.
- Ensure a safe, organized work environment with regular training and inspections. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies. Explore new materials, techniques, and production methods to stay competitive.

What we are looking for:
- 3–5 years of experience in garment decoration (embroidery, DTF, DTG, UV DTF, heat transfer, or laser cutting).
- Proven experience leading, developing, and managing a team.
- Expert in decoration techniques, machine setup, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical thinker; skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
