What You'll Be Doing
GroupeSTAHL is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator with experience using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) to join our team. This role is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, and providing payroll-related support to employees.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefits deductions, along with hands-on experience using UKG for payroll administration. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll using UKG, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including tax forms, direct deposits, and benefits deductions.
- Handle payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and corrections as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
- Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis to support financial and HR decision-making.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and UKG system updates.
- Proven experience in payroll administration using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group).
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees and management.
