Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at Staigles LLC in Wiggins, MS. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all food safety standards for our guests
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers
- Steam clean or hose out garbage cans
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Help load and unload supplies and product
Qualifications/Skills:
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
- Excellent understanding of various tasks
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and time management skills
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of experience as a dishwasher
