As an Applications Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating component drawings and part instructions based on customer-supplied designs, ensuring our manufacturing process runs smoothly. You will also assist in creating drawings for the Scheduling & Purchasing Department as needed. This position requires keen attention to detail, a deep understanding of customer specifications, and the ability to interpret and translate assembly drawings and layouts accurately. Collaboration and effective communication within the Engineering Department are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Convert customer designs into fabrication (FAB) drawings.
- Prepare quotes and drawings per customer specifications, ensuring all expectations are clearly understood.
- Create detailed drawings for components and production needs.
- Assist in creating routings and drawings with accurate revision levels and specified tolerances.
- Make corrections to drawings as directed by the Quality Department, maintaining proper revision levels.
- Work on special engineering projects as assigned by the Manager.
