Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team. As a Service Captain, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, assisting with end of day operations, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the Toast POS system accurately
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Prepare bills and process payments using the cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized attention to guests
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
