Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various software tools to create precise technical drawings and plans.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with technicians and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Draft designs for mechanical components, structures, and systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare layouts, schematics, and diagrams for construction or manufacturing processes.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical design drafting is preferred; familiarity with civil engineering concepts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.28 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
