6AM-4PM (M-T) 6AM-10AM (F) $22/hour
Requirements:
This position requires the following requirements for employment at Stallergenes Greer and includes but not limited to:
- Technicians are responsible for manufacturing and maintaining quality assurance for all components needed to run a macELISA assay.
- Technicians are also responsible for running macELISA assays on a weekly basis for quality release of product and for manufacturing sera controls.
- Be proficient in performing laboratory tests to troubleshoot assay and reagent issues or to support new product or process developments.
- Assure contractual obligations are being met through manufacturing processes, maintaining inventory levels, fulfilling orders for all customers in a timely manner, and providing laboratory assistance to customers when necessary.
- Maintain a healthy inventory of lab supplies for manufacturing use and knowing when to place requisitions when supplies need to be purchased.
- Troubleshoot assay and reagent issues.
- Maintain macELISA component inventory levels per contractual obligations.
- Perform macELISA assays weekly for release of product and for investigational purposes.
- Understand the use of basic lab equipment and methods i.e. pH meter, pipettes, dilutions, conversions, etc.
- Collaborate with Research Core personnel, supervisor or affiliate lab technicians on technical issues as determined by supervisor.
- Perform coating of plates manufacturing of reagents, and specific antigen preparations to supply the macELISA to customers
- Package orders for customers correctly and communicate directly with the customer on shipments.
- Maintain Laboratory spaces, equipment, and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and quality of laboratory results.
Education and Skills Required:
- BS emphasis in life sciences and/or chemistry.
