The successful applicant will be able to:
- Recommend, plan, and supervise digital lead generation tactics to fulfill a client's strategic objectives.

- Translate campaign and account performance data into clear language reports with actionable insights.
Stamats is a Google Premiere Partner and requires our marketing team to be certified for Google Ads and Analytics before hiring. Certification is at no cost and available through SkillShop. Meta and other social certifications welcome.
Stamats offers its clients a wide range of marketing tactics. Our candidate will have knowledge of and application experience with search campaigns, display (both programmatic and search platform), video, digital audio, paid social, and geo-fencing/venue targeting.
Our Digital Marketing Director leads a team of Campaign Managers to provide results-driven digital marketing services and website analytics for higher education and healthcare clients. This role provides managerial guidance to the Campaign Managers and leads client strategy while coaching both the client and internal teams on best practices, successful marketing management, and client experiences.
This role works with both internal and external teams. A key managerial function is being the bridge between client expectations and internal team performance. Preference is for an in-office working schedule, or hybrid with Mondays plus two other days each week in the Cedar Rapids Iowa office.
Internal tasks include:
- Coaching and guidance of Campaign Manager team performance, behaviors
- Internal team communication plan and execution
- Individual performance reviews and other HR-related tasks as assigned
- Coordination with other internal teams to provide them with assistance on tasks
- Time off management
- Skills development (for self and Campaign Manager)
- Assistance with internal client processes such as proactive ad budget tracking and compliance and billing setup
The client aspect of the role leads the digital marketing relationship through successful marketing strategies that grow the client’s business and promote their brand. The role also breaks down data into practical and understandable action plans.
Key tasks include:
- Daily review of performance for each account, and when needed, in-flight performance discussions with the Campaign Manager (Ad platforms, Looker Studio, Optmyzr, GA4)
- Initial and ongoing recommendation of tactics and budget allocation for the client account and all new client campaigns
- Assistance with new campaign forecasting and ownership of the response to the client
- Assists and assembles required performance reporting and presentation
- Works with the Account Manager to generate each month’s reporting theme or story
- Injects a strategic point of view into each report, explains why changes happened in the account and what change means to the overall goal
- Works with the Campaign Manager to plan the next steps section of the report (for exiting campaigns)
- Works with Account Manager to plan and present account growth opportunities
- Continuous self-education of changes in all relevant platforms and industry

- Worked with Leadership to implement policy
- Strategically advise clients by developing tactics and solutions that achieve business, marketing, and engagement objectives
- Provided ongoing tactical account guidance through outcome-focused recommendations and testing
- Maintain current client contracts while looking for opportunities for new Stamats services such as site development, content, and strategy.
