Veterinary Client Service Representative – Receptionist
Stamford Veterinary Center is dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and outstanding service to their owners. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments
- Provide information about our services, policies, and pet care recommendations.
- Process payments and invoices accurately.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and veterinary staff to ensure a smooth experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves animals and people! You should be passionate about helping pets and providing exceptional service to their owners.
- Is a strong communicator. You should be able to interact with clients and coworkers with clarity, patience, and kindness.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary clinics can be busy—multitasking and staying organized are key!
- Excellent customer service skills. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, or customer service setting is a plus.
- Is proficient with technology. Comfortability with appointment scheduling software and handling digital records.
- Is compassionate and calm under pressure. You’ll need to be understanding and reassuring when assisting worried pet owners.
- Is detail-oriented. Accuracy in scheduling, record-keeping, and payment processing is essential.
- Is a team player. You’ll be working closely with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members.
- Is reliable and professional. Punctuality, dependability, and a positive attitude are a must!
