**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at Stampede Culinary Partners. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with upper management to provide critical assistance regarding label approvals, product specifications, customer desires, technical evaluations, and more.
- Modify existing QA programs and implement new strategies to optimize processes and ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
- Assist with third-party audits, interact with USDA and FSIS inspectors, and help the technical service coordinator obtain label approvals.
- Maintain and update various records and databases, documenting aspects like product specifications, quality incidents, SSOP practices, and other QA reports.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, meat science, or a related field.
- HACCP, food safety, and food handling certifications.
- At least 3 years of QA experience in meat processing and 1 years of QA management experience.
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and phone etiquette.
