What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oven Operator 2nd Shift Alma position at Stampede Culinary Partners?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Coordinates activities of the cooking ovens during 2nd shift, (knows how to set up/load/empty/read and program ovens for specified product/and handles meat racking for oven preparation).
- Maintains time and production records; assists supervisors with paperwork; analyzes and works with others in solving work problems.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and
quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of
shop, department, or work crew.
- Knows how to arrange racks in chill boxes to use their full capacity/to swap out temperature recording charts/ how to troubleshoot boilers/blown fuses and chart recorders.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of food related experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Additional language fluency in Spanish and/or Polish a plus.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mathematical Skills
Basic Math skills required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
