What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector Morning Shift position at Stampede Culinary Partners?
Your Day-to-Day
As a Morning Food Quality Control Tech, your responsibilities will include ensuring that all U.S.D.A. and S.S.O.P. documentation is properly handled and maintained, conducting tests on seasonings, batters, breadings, and marinades, monitoring weight, length, and thickness, performing product pickups, metal detection checks, and box weight tracking, conducting organoleptic testing, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). You will also participate in weekly QA meetings, collaborate with the team on industry developments, customer feedback, and process improvements, and assist in training backup Quality Control Technicians. In addition, you will perform pre-operational inspections and provide quality control expertise to the production team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to use a calculator for determining percentages and averages. Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs in a cold, loud, and fast-moving production environment is also required. Experience in the food industry is preferred.
