HOW YOUR EXPERTISE WILL TRULY SHINE:
As our Research and Development Chef, your typical day will start in our state-of-the-art test kitchen where you collaborate with the Head Chef and Vice President of Technical Innovation and Culinary Development to explore new product ideas. You'll be hands-on-preparing bench samples, testing formulations, and evaluating taste, texture, and nutritional value. Your culinary creativity and technical know-how will guide the development of new and improved methods for food processing, packaging, and quality control. You'll support production and quality assurance teams during product rollouts and ensure food safety and regulatory standards are met. You'll also assist sales and marketing teams with customer presentations and help analyze competitive products-all while helping shape the flavor of what's next.
THE CULINARY EXPERT WE NEED:
We're looking for a Research and Development Chef with strong food preparation and culinary experience who's excited to work closely with our Head Chef and contribute directly to the development of high-quality food products. The right candidate is driven by taste, intrigued by process, confident in their ability to take a concept from vision to reality, and can meet the following qualifications:
- 2 years of culinary experience
- Experience in food preparation
- Experience as a research coordinator
- Proficiency with computers, including internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, and MS Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
