This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week on a standard business schedule.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage Stampede's accounting operations, handling deposits, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory tracking to ensure financial accuracy. You'll maintain the general ledger, reconcile balance sheets and income statements, and oversee the Fixed Asset subsidiary ledger in collaboration with Operations and Maintenance teams.
You'll prepare journal entries for sales, payroll, banking transactions, and accruals while monitoring cash flow through daily cash requirement reports. As financial periods close, you'll generate financial statements, managerial reports, and support audits. Additionally, you'll analyze inventory accounting transactions, create ad hoc reports, and assist leadership with time-sensitive projects to drive efficiency and cost savings.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- 3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Data Lookup Formulas
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
