Summary With the main focus on direct to consumers sales and orders as well as Research & Development samples, this entry level position works in conjunction with upper management, inside sales, purchasing, shipping, operations, quality assurance and accounting to ensure Customer Satisfaction, Stampede's core value.
As the Sample and Direct to Consumer Clerk, you are responsible for the daily tasks of Stampede's direct to consumer platforms as well as product samples. You will be in charge of receiving orders, packing shipments, monitoring deliveries, and customer services for Amazon and company website orders. You will also need to prepare reports for purchasing, operations, and finance. You will work closely with inside sales, R&D, and QA on product sample packing and shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this position will include the following as well as other job-related duties not assigned:
- Samples
- This person would analyze and manage inventory of coolers, boxes, and blue ice for samples.
- Coordinate how much dry ice is needed daily
- Pack off samples once R&D has completed them.
- Shipping samples and monitor their delivery occurs in the correct time frame.
- Process in database that they have been shipped and received.
- Direct to Consumer
- Meatworks
- Receive and process orders.
- Respond to customer service requests related to direct to consumer.
- Prepare fulfillment reports for indirect purchasing and production.
- Print pack slips and labels for each shipment.
- Pack off daily shipments.
- Pay out reports for Finance.
- Coordinate how much dry ice is needed daily for Direct to consumer.
- Bone-Brewhouse
- Request order needs to be pulled from inventory.
- Print shipping labels.
- Apply labels and palletize.
- Monitor tracking for shipment to ensure they arrive.

Education and/or Experience
Previous experience working in a role in production and office is preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Shipstation, Intercom, and Shopify would be beneficial but not essential.

Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. A professional and pleasant telephone voice/manner is essential. This person needs to be detail-oriented and organized. The ability to operate simple office equipment sufficiently is needed to perform the job.
