Description : 4-DAY WORKWEEK, PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING AND RANDOM DRUG SCREENING ARE REQUIRED.

2. Team Leadership & Accountability : Provide coaching and mentorship to production workers. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and quarterly conversations to review performance, discuss development opportunities, and address concerns. Manage and document performance issues, including issuing fair warnings and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as needed. Oversee payroll and attendance tracking for direct reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
3. Production Planning & Execution : Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to implement weekly and daily production plans. Assign work orders, allocate resources, and ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Monitor and report production metrics, addressing issues promptly and escalating to the Production Supervisor when necessary.
4. Operational Excellence & Standardization : Assist in maintaining and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work documents. Identify and implement process improvements in alignment with Lean manufacturing principles and operational objectives. Support root cause analysis efforts to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence.
5. Collaboration & Communication : Serve as a bridge between team members and the Production Supervisor, ensuring clear communication and operational alignment. Partner with other leads and cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and address production challenges effectively. Promote a culture of teamwork, open dialogue, and proactive problem-solving on the production floor.
6. Promote Continuous Improvement : Participate in leadership meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost reduction. Collaborate with the Production Supervisor on improvement projects and support the implementation of new processes. Mentor and coach team members to embrace professional growth, adapt to change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Leadership and supervisory experience (operations, manufacturing, or production preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Proven leadership experience, including direct supervision and accountability for team performance.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Proficiency in JDE, RF Smart, and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is preferred.
