Duration: Approximately one year, with potential to continue based on project needs

Rate: $60 USD per hour; individual projects may change hourly range

We are looking for talented and creative freelance individuals to join our Product Design Team, creating designs and artwork for our various product lines, including paper crafting for cards and scrapbooking. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and showcase your skills!

Responsibilities

• Exemplify Stampin’ Up!’s core values: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best, and we own it.
• Design new products—including stamps, paper, tools, kits, ephemera, and embellishments—that align with strategies defined in the scope of work.
• Consistently work through product assignments to meet deadlines as defined in the scope of work.
• Collaborate and update artwork as requested by the design contact or, if applicable, cross-departmental panel partners.
• Ensure output artwork is complete, accurate, and follows defined product guidelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, illustration, or equivalent and 1–2 years professional experience in a graphic design or product design role
• Expertise with and access to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently while maintaining strong attention to detail to deliver accurate and timely artwork
• Effectively communicate through email, project management systems, and virtual meetings
  
  

Helpful Skills And Experience

• Experience with fine arts painting mediums: watercolor, oil, acrylic, gouache, and/or pastels
• Design experience in craft and DIY, greeting cards, or paper crafting industry
• Experience designing for diverse age demographics
• Experience designing for various countries and regions including North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, adapting to cultural preferences and market trends
• 1–2 years of experience in a contract role or freelance career
