Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens (SHHG) is seeking an experienced Project Management Director to oversee key initiatives, including capital improvements, data management system implementations, and IT projects. This full-time role involves leading a high-performing team, developing project management methodologies, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The director will collaborate with departments like IT, horticulture, education, and finance, ensuring alignment with SHHG's mission to preserve and share the Manor House and Gardens. Strong project management skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this dynamic role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional attitude with staff, volunteers, and the public.
- Promote diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging.
- Lead and manage the Project Management team, fostering a productive work environment.
- Oversee projects according to strategic plans, safety guidelines, and best practices.
- Create and execute project plans, managing multiple projects with timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.

- Foster collaboration across departments to achieve project goals.
- Deliver clear reports, presentations, and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support team members, encouraging professional growth.

Education and/or Experience:

2. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Project Management.
3. Minimum 3 years of management experience.
4. Experience working with interns and volunteers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
