General Statement of Job:
The Expediter Assistant is responsible for assisting the division in managing both time and resources to make certain paint and drywall projects completed on time. The Coastal Expediter Assistant is expected to work autonomously to accomplish his/her goals and requires an individual with strong organization, time management skills, and self-motivation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies, and Inventory Items.
- Monitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed.
- Communicate with the Production and Field Managers to ensure products are on hand as needed.
- Participates with Inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company.
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
- Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
- Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
- Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standards
- Assist the TFM with daily functions of paint and drywall process
- Communication of information captured in field to other team members
- Effective management of materials on job level
- Manage the flow of materials to job sites according to production schedules
- Assist with daily technician job tasks on an as needed basis
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training:
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite), preferred but not required
- Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license for 3 years and insurable with Company insurance company
- Construction experience preferred but not required

- Typical hours of operation 7:00 am – 4:00 pm / Monday - Friday

- The position requires lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) on a consistent basis.
Working Environment and Conditions:
- This position requires working in an outdoors environment.
- Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) and all-weather conditions.
