Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pile Driver to join our Marine Construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and driving and installing piles for various construction projects and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Duties
- Operate pile driving equipment to install foundation piles accurately and efficiently
- Drive and extract steel, concrete, or wood piles into the ground using rig-mounted or crane-mounted equipment
- Perform maintenance checks on pile driving machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with construction teams to determine pile placement and depth requirements
- Inspect and prepare worksites for pile driving operations, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in shipping, receiving, and handling materials as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.
-Operate tug boats to move equipment from job to job on the lake.
-Ability to torch, grind, and weld steel structures
Experience
- Proven experience in pile driving or related heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with commercial driving, construction site procedures, backhoe operation, forklift usage, and materials handling
- Ability to operate a rig or crane for pile driving tasks
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and materials management processes
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in pile driving or related field is a plus
