Senior Project Manager
">This is an opportunity to drive significant change within a large enterprise IT environment and play a crucial part in shaping the company's digital future. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading ongoing enhancements and software upgrades for key Media & Entertainment products. You will ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to end users during go-live enhancements and product deliveries.
">The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to work with business stakeholders across the business stakeholders, product and technical engineering teams. They will have a strong background in Agile Scrum methodologies, experience working with software developers, and a deep understanding of documenting requirements to ensure deliverables meet expected business outcomes on time and under budget.
">You will also be responsible for coordinating to ensure that UAT is performed to ensure deliverables meet requirements. The successful candidate will be adept at writing project plans, understanding risk, executive communications, and project management principles to keep multiple moving parts moving forward.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to end users during go-live enhancements and product deliveries. ">
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, identifying key milestones, tasks, and resources. ">
- Coordinate with software developers and IT professionals to deliver solutions that meet business requirements. ">
- Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as appropriate. ">
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to executive stakeholders clearly and timely. ">
- Promote and enforce Agile Scrum methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. ">
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their system problems and opportunities in the context of requirements. ">
- Work with Technology teams and management to identify solutions that achieve project goals. ">
- Provide direction to internal and external resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status, and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation. ">
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience working with large-scale project management with an understanding of project management tools, processes, risk mitigation, communications, and strategic planning. ">
- An understanding of program management with the ability to see high-level project alignment with larger goals and outcomes. ">
- Must have practical experience with managing technology projects with experience with Media & Entertainment projects (preferred). ">
- Strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholder groups. ">
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage project risks and issues. ">
- Deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. ">
- Experience in executive communication and ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. ">
- Experience developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for new development projects, as well as develop detailed requirements for these projects. ">
- Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday, etc.) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills. ">
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation and facilitation skills. ">
- Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently, and problem-solve to ensure all projects are completed in an effective and timely manner. ">
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required (or related experience); major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred. ">
