STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead critical initiatives in media broadcasting. This role will focus on preparing systems, data, and reports for seamless AI integration, with a particular emphasis on managing projects in media and broadcasting environments. While experience with AI is not required, strong expertise in project management and experience with either a VPCR build (Virtual Production Control Room) or studio and control room builds is essential. The TPM will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, standardize workflows, and ensure successful technology implementations.
- Lead efforts to standardize reports, data, and workflows in preparation for AI implementation.
- Manage projects within a broadcasting environment, ensuring industry-specific needs are met, particularly in the context of VPCR or studio/control room builds.
- Oversee Scrum processes, backlog grooming, and requirement gathering to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, manage development timelines, and coordinate Go/No-Go decisions.
- Develop and execute project charters, manage timelines, and drive successful technology rollouts.
- Lead project launches, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Experience with cloud migrations and virtualization initiatives is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in a media broadcasting environment.
- Experience with VPCR build (Virtual Production Control Room) or studio and control room builds is a must.
- Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience in backlog grooming and requirement gathering.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive deliverables.
- Experience with cloud migration and virtualization projects (Preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $73 - $83/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
