What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Project Manager position at STAND 8?
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan.
We are seeking a Service Delivery Specialist to oversee customer service orders from order acceptance to billing, ensuring seamless implementation and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience managing telecommunication service orders and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee customer service orders for the implementation of fiber solutions (Dedicated Internet, EVPL, Dark Fiber, Data Center/Collocation, etc.).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality by coordinating with Construction, Permitting, Field Operations, and Network Engineering teams.
- Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and manage escalations.
- Maintain and update internal systems to ensure project forecast accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure projects are delivered within established CAPEX budgets (primarily at or under $125K).
- Submit Budget Revisions (BRs) in accordance with internal finance guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks by monitoring project milestones and maintaining system accuracy.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Foundational knowledge of telecommunication services.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Project/time management and financial skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Ability to think resourcefully and problem-solve effectively.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $29 - $39/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
