STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan.
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Report Writer 3 to support the Finance division of the Texas Education Agency (TEA). This position focuses on assisting the Financial Staff in developing additional queries to enhance their ability to retrieve meaningful information from the CAPPS System. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-divisional executives, directors, and other stakeholders to review CAPPS business system configurations, improve business processes, and develop necessary reports.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the All Activity Query for CAPPS.
Design, test, and build queries to improve business processes.
Coordinate the development of additional reports and queries as needed.
Assist in re-engineering processes to ensure efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
Work with business customers to gather requirements for system improvements and report development.
Prepare detailed documentation supporting the activities listed above.
Conduct a full range of testing for the reports and queries developed. Qualifications
10 years of experience with CAPPS Business Process Design / Redesign / Reengineering best practices
10 years of experience in Business / System / Data Analysis and Improvement
10 years of experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms
10 years of experience with ERP / CAPPS Financials / PeopleSoft.
10 years of proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products
10 years of experience in verbal and written communication
10 years of experience with CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inventory, Assets, and Grants
10 years of experience with Query and Reporting Development with CAPPS
5 years of experience with the All-Activity Query Logic in CAPPS Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $88- $98 / per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
