We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both MAC and Windows operating systems, with a strong knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware. This role is essential to ensuring that staff and executives have the tools and support they need to operate efficiently. Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for MAC (90% of environment), Windows 7, and Windows 10 Enterprise operating systems.
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident management and support.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral hardware components.
- Maintain functional knowledge of supported software, including Microsoft Office 2016 & 2019, Office 365, Active Directory, JAMF, Dameware, LogMeIn, antivirus tools, web browsers, and SCCM.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring staff and executives receive timely and effective technical support.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLA) and ensure department processes are followed for accurate and efficient project work.
- Perform all duties in alignment with established client and company standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MAC (90% of environment), Win7, and Win10 Enterprise operating systems.
- Skilled in ServiceNow support.
- Strong knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware components.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 & 2019, Office 365, Active Directory, JAMF, Dameware, LogMeIn, antivirus tools, web browsers, and SCCM.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing superior support to both staff and executives.
- Ability to follow SLA's and ensure project work is completed accurately and on time.
- College degree or equivalent proven experience.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $19 - $29 /per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
