We are looking for a skilled Level 2 Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who thrives in solving complex IT problems and providing exceptional support to end users. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth technical operations across multiple locations, collaborating with various teams, and contributing to the success of IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced IT issues, including system errors, software bugs, and connectivity problems.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory accounts, including user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Collaborate with Helpdesk Technicians to ensure prompt resolution of escalated tickets.
- Document and update troubleshooting procedures and solutions in the IT knowledge base.
- Provide remote support to employees across multiple locations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in a Level 2 IT support role.
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as GoToAssist.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-first approach.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Experience supporting VoIP phone systems and video conferencing tools.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Previous experience in food service or manufacturing environments is a plus.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $20 - $30/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
