What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Permitting Specialist position at STAND 8?
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Permitting Coordinator to support a team (Region, District, Area, or Functional group) with assigned tasks and projects. This role involves assisting with Right-of-Way permitting, application preparation and processing, construction drawing review, administrative tasks, tracking project deliverables, and monitoring deadlines. The ideal candidate will provide regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise, ensuring smooth project operations.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of preparing and securing entitlements for the installation of infrastructure within public rights of way and public utility easements.
- Update tracking systems to ensure status updates are accurate, including third-party management systems.
- Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the team, project, or program (both internal and external).
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs, monitoring for integrity and completeness.
- Provide ad hoc reports as requested.
- Maintain checkbook compliance and manage check requests.
- Issue vendor Purchase Orders (POs) as needed.
- Provide administrative support with Right-of-Way permitting and application processing.
- Review construction drawings, ensuring proper submittal and correspondence.
- Track project deliverables, dates, and monitor deadlines.
- Communicate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Utilize Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, and various database systems for project management.
- Prioritize and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The base range for this contract position is $38 - $48 / per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
