React Developer

We are looking for a skilled React Developer to design and build interactive user interfaces (UIs) for both web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will focus on creating reusable components and ensuring a seamless user experience by transforming design wireframes into fully functional code.
Responsibilities

• Component Development: Design, develop, and maintain reusable React components to build complex UIs.
• JSX Implementation: Write clean and efficient code using JSX syntax to structure UI elements within React components.
• State Management: Utilize React's state management features (e.g., Context API or Redux) to manage data flow and updates within the application.
• API Integration: Fetch data from backend APIs and integrate it into the React application to display dynamic content.
• Performance Optimization: Implement techniques like code splitting and lazy loading to optimize React applications for speed and efficiency.
• Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests for React components to ensure functionality and identify potential issues.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate design concepts into functional UIs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6 features, closures, and asynchronous programming.
• React Expertise: In-depth knowledge of React core concepts like components, props, state, lifecycle methods, and hooks.
• HTML & CSS: Solid understanding of HTML structure and CSS styling to create responsive, visually appealing UIs.
• Frontend Development Tools: Familiarity with tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, and build systems for managing React projects.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for managing code changes and collaboration.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with unit testing libraries like Jest and React Testing Library.

Preferred

• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) with Next.js.
• Experience migrating Angular code to React.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $15 - $20/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
