Air Spray Painter
Pay : $22.51 per hour 5% shift differential
Location : Tulsa, OK
Hours : Monday–Thursday, 3 : 30 PM–2 : 00 AM (Mandatory overtime as needed)
Job Type : Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
The Air Spray Painter "B" position requires fundamental knowledge of spray-painting techniques and the ability to apply proper nomenclature to products with minimal supervision. The candidate must be capable of operating one or more machines to meet production and quality standards.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Skillfully apply spray paint to products following established procedures.
Operate and maintain spray-painting equipment efficiently.
Understand and work with all required components of the painting process.
Utilize shop mathematics and read blueprints and written specifications .
Operate one or more machines to maintain production and quality standards .
Lift 1 to 50 pounds multiple times per day.
Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach to pick up and paint parts.
Read, comprehend, and follow safety warnings, assembly instructions, and required documentation .
Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and inspectors .
Retain long-term procedural knowledge to ensure consistent quality and production efficiency.
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance to support manufacturing schedules.
Work in an environment with dust, smoke, and fumes typical of a manufacturing setting.
Job Specifications
Minimum two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required.
OSHA-required Respiratory and Fit Testing certifications required.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical & Environmental Conditions
Work in variable shop conditions , often dusty and noisy .
Stand and walk for 8 hours daily .
Exposure to drying and irritating fumes, vapors, and solutions , controlled to OSHA standards .
Work indoors, sometimes in confined or dusty areas .
Ability to balance, bend, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach, stoop, and twist .
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 50 lbs. or more as needed.
