Job Position : Assembly Technician

Location : Oklahoma City, OK 73135

Pay Rate : $16.00 - $20.00 / hr

Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (Monday-Thursday), 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM (Friday & Saturday)

Hours : 56 Hours Per Week

Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to disassemble and assemble various components, parts, or sub-assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and proficiency with various tools and machinery to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret and follow manufacturing instructions, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOM).
Accurately measure parts using tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Operate and troubleshoot test equipment, including TTR, Megger, and Resistance Bridge.
Safely operate transformer ovens, vacuum pumps, and related equipment to ensure optimal dielectric properties of insulating fluids.
Execute mechanical processes such as brazing, cold welding, and crimping.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including cranes and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Adhere to production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain regular attendance and demonstrate a positive work attitude.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of two years of related experience or training in assembly or manufacturing.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.

Successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands :

Regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the workday.

Vision abilities required include peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

Exposure to wet and humid conditions, fumes, and airborne particles.

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and elevated workspaces.

Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
