Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team in Sapulpa OK. This role involves operating and maintaining brake press machinery interpreting blueprints and ensuring the highest level of quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate brake press machinery to bend shape and form metal components.
Work safely around overhead cranes forklifts power equipment and other industrial processes.
Interpret blueprints set up machines and perform regular maintenance.
Inspect metal during shaping and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
Ensure productivity meets companyestablished requirements and maintain highquality workmanship.
Follow all safety policies procedures and 5S workplace organization standards.
Collaborate as a team member to complete projects efficiently while upholding safety and quality standards.
Skills & Experience
Basic fabrication shop experience is required.
Proficiency in operating overhead cranes and power tools.
Ability to read and write basic shop communications.
Experience using a shop tape measure micrometer and other measuring tools.
Ability to interpret shop drawings and understand bill of materials.
Strong willingness to learn new skills and grow within the role.
