Industrial Painter / Blaster

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the surface preparation and coating of industrial components. Working in a safety-sensitive environment, the ideal candidate must be familiar with overhead cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment while adhering to high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply industrial coatings to specified thicknesses.
- Mix, thin, and adjust spray equipment to ensure proper atomization.
- Apply secondary coatings and verify specified finish.
- Operate overhead cranes, power tools, and related equipment.
- Inspect equipment at the beginning and end of each shift; report any issues immediately.
- Maintain required documentation and adhere to productivity targets.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Maintain consistent quality and workmanship in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of industrial painting experience.
- Familiarity with various industrial coatings and application processes.
- Understanding of the impact of temperature and humidity on coatings.
- Knowledge of fast- and slow-evaporating solvents.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and paint data sheets.
- Demonstrated professionalism and team collaboration.
- Desire and ability to lead or contribute to a team-oriented environment.
