Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician for a temptohire opportunity with our client in Joplin MO. This role involves assisting the Maintenance Mechanic with the installation repair and maintenance of various HVAC / R equipment and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC systems welding electrical work plumbing and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Install repair and maintain HVAC / R equipment ensuring proper functionality.
Perform preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Utilize hand and power tools for sheet metal fabrication painting plumbing and carpentry tasks.
Accurately use calipers micrometers levels squares and tape measures to complete precise work.
Operate heavy equipment and assist in facility maintenance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in HVAC system maintenance and repair.
Proficiency in welding sheet metal fabrication electrical plumbing and carpentry.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more as required.
Valid drivers license required.
Ability to obtain forklift and heavy equipment certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must pass a preemployment drug screen and federal background check.
