Mechanical Assembler
- Pay : $16-19 / hr
- Hours : Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2 : 30PM
- Job Type : Temp-to-Hire
- Location : Pryor, Oklahoma
Position Overview : We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists, gathering all required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble metal components, subassemblies, products, or systems by following work orders, production drawings, or verbal instructions
- Work with large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, interpreting blueprints and drawings as needed
- Test and calibrate parts to meet product specifications and tolerances
- Use hand tools, power tools, welders, and machines to achieve dimensional accuracy
- Perform online testing and inspection with measuring instruments to ensure components meet production standards
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support production
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic
- Training certificates in blueprint reading and welding preferred
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting of more than 50 lbs
