Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This role involves assembling machines from the ground up, working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components such as diesel engines, pumps, hoses, and more. The position requires blueprint and schematic interpretation, mechanical troubleshooting, and occasional maintenance of returned products. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components, including diesel engines, pumps, and hoses.
Perform basic electrical wiring and interpret schematics/blueprints.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on customer and distributor returns as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure production efficiency and quality.
Travel domestically to customer locations for on-site equipment setup, repairs, and troubleshooting when required.
Job Requirements
Two years of vocational or technical education preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics accurately.
Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic assemblies, and motor vehicles.
Background in automotive, engine rebuilding, or mechanical assembly.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must own or be willing to purchase a basic toolset, including wrenches, hex/Allen sets, socket sets, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and vice grips.
Physical Requirements
95% of the shift involves standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while performing assembly tasks and inspecting work.
Frequent climbing onto or into machines to complete assembly tasks.
Must be able to lift, pull, push, and hold parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Some work may be performed in confined spaces, requiring manual handling of parts without lifting devices.
