Production Assembler

Position Overview
StandBy Personnel is seeking a Production Assembler for an immediate temptohire opportunity. The ideal candidate must have a clean background pass a preemployment drug screen and thrive in a fastpaced manufacturing environment . Candidates should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly processes preferably in furniture or cabinet manufacturing . A stable work history and prior assembly experience are required .
Key Responsibilities
Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.Utilize hand and power tools efficiently to complete assembly tasks.Operate machinery on the assembly line while adhering to safety protocols .Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency .Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety practices.Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting required .High school diploma or GED required .Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical documents .Ability to maintain a safe work environment including wearing required protective gear .Verify quality of parts entering and leaving the designated operation.Adherence to standard codes of conduct in all workplace interactions.Proficiency in assembly work using hand tools such as screwdrivers and drills to assemble cabinets case goods etc.Manually package readytoassemble products stacking boxes and / or tables up to five feet high .Ensure products are defectfree correctly packed and neatly stacked on pallets.Must be able to lift bend push pull stoop crouch reach and extend arms wrists and fingers constantly or stand / walk / lift for 10 hours per day .Experience using manual pallet jacks and assembly equipment.Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced assembly line environment with strong problemsolving skills .Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.Benefits & Advancement Opportunities
