Trailer & Tire Mechanic

  • Job Type :  Temp-to-Hire
  • Location :  Broken Arrow, OK
  • Pay :  $20–$23 per hour
  • Shift :  Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM (hours may vary based on business needs and weather)

Job Responsibilities

  • Possess a  working knowledge  of various tire types and sizes.
  • Change, replace, and rotate  trailer tires.
  • Repair and maintain  trailer lights, brakes, and air lines.
  • Be available to work a  variety of shifts , including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Perform  routine maintenance and adjustments  on trailer equipment per manufacturer and company schedules.
  • Inspect and repair  trailers, including working in, on, or under trailer parts.
  • Safely  walk and stand  for extended periods on uneven or slippery surfaces, including outdoor work in inclement weather.
  • Safely  walk, reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel  as necessary.
  • Repair or rebuild  trailer systems as needed.
  • Maintain  shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance  with company policies.
  • Adhere to  DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations .
  • Conduct  safety inspections  and prepare  documentation  as required.
  • Participate in  company training programs  to stay up to date with best practices.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to  lift, bend, stretch, twist, and reach  using arms and legs.
  • Remain on feet for  8 to 12-hour shifts .
  • Work outdoors for extended periods in  varying weather conditions  (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Lift objects of  various sizes and weights  (up to  50 lbs frequently  and occasionally greater than  75 lbs ).
  • Work in  dusty environments .
