Part Time Sales Consultant for Stand Strong Fencing of Sarasota

About this Role

This is a part time position working three days a week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These days are non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you cannot work weekends.

The Sales Consultant at Stand Strong Fencing drives new sales of residential and commercial fence construction projects. Each sales team member is expected to:

• Learn and adopt the Stand Strong Fencing structured sales process and complete required training

• Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry knowledge, and process knowledge in relevant product areas

• Expertly consult with clients and present the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fencing as a business, along with its products and services

• Sales leads will be provided and appointments booked in for you through our call center, but you will be expected to prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and other organic lead generation strategies, and effectively follow-up with prospects to win new business

• Set and maintain the required number of sales appointments to meet or exceed sales goals and confirm and qualify booked appointments

• Generate accurate estimates and professionally and comprehensively present proposals to property owners

• Perform lead generation strategies and activities

• Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities

• Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments.

• Work with install team leaders to understand, explain, and analyze client requirements

• Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner

• Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries

Experience and Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in the fencing industry is a plus

• Consistent record of high sales achievement

• 2 years sales experience in home services or construction

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet and modern software applications

• Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight

• Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisors

• Must have a valid driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits

• This is a commission only position, paying 7% of all gross sales. We expect that the annal salary for this position, based on working 3 days per week, will pay a minimum of $65,000, with an expectation of $80,000

• $300 per week will be paid for the four weeks.

• Company vehicle and fuel card provided for all sales calls

• Commission paid monthly

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Enjoy going out into the community knocking on doors and engaging with owners.

• Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.

• Work outside in the elements during each season

• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 25 lbs.

• Be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.

Pay: $48.00 - $65.00 per hour
