THE BASICS
Pay : This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $24 - $32, commensurate with experience, and presents an excellent opportunity for professional development in the field of service.
Schedule : This position is full-time, with a typical workweek from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees will report to a central location before heading to job sites or service areas. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends may be required as necessary.
Benefits :YOUR DAY AS AN ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
In this role, your day will begin at the central location, where you will prepare for the day's projects by gathering the necessary tools and materials. You will then travel to various job sites to install and maintain systems, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting. Your expertise will be key in troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions, performing panel upgrades, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operating efficiently and safely. Throughout your workday, you will interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. You will also maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent. Collaboration with contractors and other tradespeople will be essential to the success of each project.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
- 4 years of experience in electrical service, including panel upgrades, troubleshooting, and lighting and outlet installation in new construction
- Strong proficiency in electrical systems, wiring methods, and tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety practices
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and at various heights
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends
