This associate will work with operations leadership to improve equipment up time by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment. A successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a laboratory manufacturing environment with an overall continuous equipment system mindset to drive organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate would have operational knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma processes.

This associate will work with operations leadership to improve equipment up time by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain laboratory equipment to deliver industry leading reliability.
- Develop and maintain all related lab equipment PM schedule and system calibrations
- Develop maintenance processes with the assistance of manufacturing staff and leadership.
- Develop appropriate preventative maintenance plans and critical spares inventory to increase reliability and quality to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Participate in project teams to implement new equipment and processes.
- Install equipment and perform installation, operational and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Participate in the identification of new laboratory equipment
Education
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
Skills And Experience
- Hands-on laboratory equipment maintenance experience
- Experience with equipment qualification IQ/OQ/PQ
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to be innovative and creative
- Ability to plan, execute, and deliver multiple related projects simultaneously
- Operational understanding of Lean or Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology
- Experience with Continuous Improvement mindset environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Superb time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience moving and setting up production lines
- Experience with building facility systems
- Experience with equipment evaluation and selection a plus
- Experience with reading equipment prints
- Work is performed in a typical laboratory environment. Personal Protective Equipment use is required.
- Requires onsite presence in Boulder CO
$27 - $30/hr.
