About the Position
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Test Technician to join our team at Standard Bots.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct regular calibration, functional testing, and burn-in testing of robotic systems and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow established standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure accurate test results.
- Operate laboratory equipment and sensors such as data acquisition systems, motion trackers, load cells, and accelerometers to collect data on robot performance.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software quality defects, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of test results and communicate status to the quality and manufacturing teams.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or testing of complex mechanical or electrical products.
- Hands-on experience with hand and power tools, as well as electrical test equipment such as multimeters and data acquisition systems.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with mechatronic components.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
