Standard Care, LLC. is seeking a Clinical Director to be based in their Veazie, Maine office.

Requirements of the Clinical Director:

· Bachelor's Degree in the Social Services field with a specialization in Psychology, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Special Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Nursing, etc. required. Master’s Degree highly preferred.

· Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.

· Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the intellectual disabilities/autism field as well as two years’ experience developing behavior management plans and supervising the implementation of plans.

· Strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask are strongly desired.

· Must possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Must have a strong writing ability and be highly organized with excellent time management skills.

· Ability to work with a variety of individuals within the organization as well as state, local and federal licensing personnel.

· Stay current in knowledge of state and federal regulations, policies and guidelines related to the IDD and Autism field.

· Must maintain all licenses in good and current standing.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Ability to commute to the Veazie, ME office Monday to Friday.

Benefits of the Job:

· Pay in the range of: $80,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities of the Clinical Director:

· Demonstrate and maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.

· Encourage a positive and cordial relationship with coworkers, people supported by Standard Care, LLC, family members, guardians, providers, State and local agencies and the public.

· Organize and prioritize the tasks of the job in an efficient manner.

· Establish and follow procedures and regulations that will ensure health and safety for everyone in the agency. The Clinical Director must be well versed in all applicable state and federal licensing regulations particularly as it relates to behavior management and intervention.

· Ensure that Behavioral Management Plans are implemented, and training is done in a timely and consistent manner for all relevant staff while adhering to the State of Maine “Regulations Governing Behavioral Support, Modification and Management for People with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism. This includes such things as Behavior Management Plan development, monitoring frequency, Psychiatric Medication Plans, Protective Safety Devices, etc.

· Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to staff on matters concerning service plans, treatment goals and objectives, positive behavioral support, etc.

· Provide training and oversight related to clinical services to all agency house managers, DSPs, etc. which may involve daily interaction. This training and oversight may include discussing specific cases and offering direction and advice, face-to-face contact with people supported by Standard Care, LLC and their support team, developing support plans, facilitating or participating in staff meetings for clinical training, orientation of all administrative and clinical staff to all clinical related subjects such as: positive supports and programming, teaching methods, assessment, program development, documentation, reporting, etc.

· Implement policies and procedures to comply with corporate, federal, state, and local licensing regulations related to all behavior management, interventions, or best practice clinical treatments.

· Maintain copies of all appropriate procedures, regulations, policies, and guidelines, make them accessible to the agency and train agency personnel in following these standards in the performance of their duties.

· Responsible for the day-to-day decisions relating to the coordination of clinical services.

· Support the goals, values, and philosophy of the Standard Care, LLC organization.

Standard Care provides home and community-based services to members with intellectual disabilities, Autism and other spectrum disorders throughout the state of Maine.
