Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a dynamic and meticulous professional for the position of Associate Director, Exam Management. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker who excels in communication and thrives in a detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of industry examination trends and proactively communicate insights to business and functional teams.
- Collaborate with various departments to manage and coordinate all aspects of the Bank’s regulatory exams, from initial data collection to post-examination follow-ups and continuous reviews.
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking of management responses and deliverables to regulators.
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet ongoing regulatory requests efficiently.
- Organize and participate in internal regulatory exam meetings and the Bank’s regulatory engagement forum.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 years of experience dealing with US regulators (FINRA, FRB, DFS, SEC, OCC)
- Strong understanding of business operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly organized and detail-oriented- Proactively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues.
- Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
