About the Role:
The Account Manager Trainee will be responsible for seeking and qualifying prospects, building and developing strong relationships with customers through effective cold calling and outreach strategies. You will work closely with account managers to learn the ins and outs of the industry and develop your skills in sales and account management. The associate will utilize CRM tools to track interactions and manage leads efficiently. Your ultimate goal will be to become a successful account manager and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
The salary range for this position is $42-$55K with 3% of gross profit of sales. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and personal transportation required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Knowledge in the wholesale distribution industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of interested potential customers.
- Use various means to grow business such as cold calling, provided leads, social media, and other resources.
- Utilize customer relationship management system (CRM) to track customer interactions.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers to understand their needs.
- Collaborate with the account managers to develop strategies for exceeding sales goals.
